Dual Booting

I was wondering if it was allowable for Vista Beta 2 to 'Dual-Boot' with another Window's system...i.e. WinXP?

Yes, just as long as you install it on a logical partition. Make sure you back up your data before installing: http://windowsconnected.com/blogs/andre/archive/2006/06/08/3002.aspx -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

Sure

Are you referring to Pro-Networks Vista Boot Pro?

VistaBootPRO is a boot editor, I didn't mention anything relating to my reply to VistaBootPRO. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

yeah i had vista and xp on my system on a drive partition into two....well my xp got screwed up and i reinstalled it..ever since i did that it doesn't start in dual booting menu anymore and i can't get it for the life of me please help me
btw i do not have a vista cd but i do have an xp one..i had extracted it on my old windows xp desktop and in which i deleteded
please help

Thats because XP overwrote the MBR and killed the Vista boot manager in the process. You will have to reinstall Vista again. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

Like XP has repair utilities on the CD, I would think Vista would too, but since you don't have the CD...

Windows Vista
